Great turnout at the New Year's pie-cutting event of the Thermaikos Tourism Association

A large crowd gathered for the pie-cutting event organized by the Thermaikos Tourism Association, which took place at a seaside hotel in Peraia, sending an optimistic message for the new year and the tourism prospects of the region.

The event was warmly opened by the president of the Association, Mr. Asterios Balassas, who welcomed everyone and expressed his gratitude to all those who actively support the Association's initiatives, emphasizing the importance of cooperation for the further development of Thermaikos as a tourist destination.

A special moment of the evening was the award ceremony honoring Mr. Nikos Kokkaris for his valuable contribution and service to the promotion of tourism in the area, receiving warm applause from the audience.

Following that, Mr. Antonis Leivadiotis presented the Association’s recent activities, analyzing the initiatives already implemented, as well as future plans aimed at strengthening Thermaikos' tourism identity.

The event was also attended by and addressed by the Mayor of the Municipality of Thermaikos, Mr. Theodoros Tzekos, who underlined the importance of collaboration between the Municipality and the Association for the region's growth, as well as New Democracy Mr. Theofanis Papas, who emphasized the need for state support in the tourism sector.

The event provided an excellent opportunity for members of the Association, tourism professionals, as well as friends and supporters of the ongoing effort for tourism development, to get to know each other and strengthen relationships. Attendees exchanged views and ideas on how to enhance and promote Thermaikos' tourism potential, highlighting the need for cooperation and joint actions for the benefit of the local community.
